Lisnavagh House & Gardens
Lisnavagh House is a Gothic revival mansion on a stunning 800 acre private estate just 45 miles south of Dublin on the borders of counties Carlow and Wicklow.Atmospheric and unique, Lisnavagh has been a family home for ten generations. Its elegant interior is filled with antiques, curios, paintings and family portraits. The House has four wonderful interconnecting
function rooms including a beautiful oak panelled library all with roaring log fires. Upstairs, there are six, individually styled, magnificent bedrooms with their own bathrooms.
This wedding venues available on an exclusive hire basis only with a capacity of up to 80 guests seated in Lisnavagh House or no limit with respect to marque weddings. Costs range from €5,500 one night B&B in Lisnavagh House with exclusive venue hire and from €7,770 for one night B&B in Lisnavagh House and exclusive hire inc marquee.
Guests enjoy access to fourteen acres of gardens, which include the justly famed Pleasure Grounds, the American Gardens and flourishing rhododendron beds, with the sound of Lisnavagh peacocks flirting in the distance.
The Yew Walk is a particularly memorable and natural location for a wedding ceremony - wedding blessings are possible on site and they also have a civil ceremony license.

Directions
From Dublin, the North & the North EastTake Exit 9 off M50 to M7. Take Exit 11 off M7 onto M9. Take Exit 4 off M9 signposted to Carlow/Castledermot. At roundabout turn left to Castledermot. Turn sharp right as you reach Castledermot opposite the Castle Inn and signposted to Tullow. After 7.5km take left to Hackettstown and Rathvilly (Ignore left hand turn to Rathvilly after about 1.5km). At next xroads cross over and continue towards Hacketstown for just over 3km. Take a left for Rathvilly/Lisnavagh House. After 1.8km entrance on left.
Lisnavagh House is approximately 15 minutes from M9 motorway.
From Tullow and the South East
From Wexford, take the N80, towards Carlow. Turn right on the N81 to Tullow. Go straight through Tullow towards Rathvilly on the N81. After about 5km, turn right on the Hacketstown road. Turn left at Tobinstown (a small hamlet on a crossroads just before a marked bend in the road). The Entrance to Lisnavagh Farmyard is half a mile on the left, just after two stone holiday cottages. The Entrance to Lisnavagh House and Gardens is half a mile further up the road on the left.
