Narrow Water Castle

Scenically situated overlooking Carlingford Lough, and only 4 miles from Newry, Narrow Water Castle makes an atmospheric and conveniently located setting for weddings. Built in the early 1800’s from local granite, this historic building is available for civil ceremonies, wedding receptions or a backdrop for photography on the special day.

Civil Ceremonies in the Vaulted Cellars can comfortably seat over 100 people and, lit by candles, soft lighting creates the perfect atmosphere.

For intimate wedding receptions of up to 70 guests, the Vaulted Cellars and three adjoining rooms with original open hearth fireplaces, make a wonderful setting.

A fully lined marquee in the gardens ,overlooking the Castle, Carlingford Lough and Cooley Mountains, provides a memorable dining setting for wedding receptions of all sizes.

The friendly staff at Narrow Water Events are happy to forward recommendations for suppliers (caterers, florists, photographers, etc) and nearby facilities.

Directions

Just outside Warrenpoint on the Newry Road. From Newry take the A2 Dual Carriageway to Warrenpoint for approx 6.5kms then enter Narrow Water Estate on the left. Just before the next roundabout.
